From a tiny seed to a mighty trunk: CLC’s reforestation activity

On September 1, 2018, marking its fifth year of partnership with the Municipality of San Nicolas and City Environment and Natural Resources Office – Department of Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO-DENR), Chelsea Group planted an additional one thousand (1,000) seedlings to carpet the slopes of Taal Volcano in a tree-planting activity held at Brgy. Alas-as San Nicolas, Batangas.

Since its incorporation in 2016, CLC has already planted two thousand two hundred (2,200) seedlings as part of DENR’s National Greening Program (NGP). The trees are now in various states of growth – from tiny buds and seedlings to young trees which reminds us why we continue our initiative – that our efforts no matter how slow – are not futile.
